How to get right with God:

you must repent of your sins. This includes confessing to God that you have sinned against Him, asking Him to forgive you of your sins, and asking Him to help you turn away from the sinful lifestyle of the past.

Read Luke 13:3, Matt. 3:2, and Matt. 4:17.

You must place your complete faith and trust in Jesus.

When Jesus died on the cross, He paid the penalty that our sins deserve and purchased our redemption. He paid the price. Therefore, eternal life is a gift, bought and paid for by Him. It can only be received.

It cannot be earned or purchased because Jesus already did that.

Read Eph. 2:8-10.

You must surrender to Jesus as Lord of your life.

You must give up control of your life and let Jesus take control of your heart and life.

Read Rom. 14:7-9, Rev. 17:14, Jer. 17:9.

Would you open the door of your heart to Jesus right now and ask Him to come into your heart and life and save you and change you?

Read Rev. 3:20.

If you have trusted Jesus to be your Savior and Lord, you can be sure that…

– Your sin is forgiven.
– You are a Christian.
– You are a child of God.
– God will always be with you.
– You will go to heaven when you die.

What can you do now?

– Tell others that you are a Christian and that Jesus is your Lord and Savior.
– Be baptized to show others that you have become a Christian.
– Attend a church regularly.
– Read the Bible and pray to God each day.

If you prayed and asked Jesus to become your Lord and Savior, we rejoice with you in that decision. If you would, drop us a line and let us know about your decision so that we might pray for you.

Here’s some questions to remember:

Will you ever sin again?

Yes. Everyone sins.
When you do sin, ask God to forgive you and to help you obey Him. Ask Him! He will!

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” I John 1:9

Will you ever have to become a Christian again?

No. When you ask Jesus to be your Savior and Lord, salvation last forever. Remember this promise from God:
“I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee..” Hebrews 13:5
