Saturday, March 9th, was a glorious day at Mission of Hope! Life Riders Motorcycle Ministry, consisting of 75+ riders on 63 bikes, sponsored a benefit, which raised funds in the amount of $5,713.84, to aid in the rebuilding of the dorm that was destroyed by the New Years Day fire. First Baptist North Mobile then matched $5,000 of those funds, for a total of $10,713.84. To God be the glory!

We encourage you to follow the link here and see another way that you can help Mission of Hope Ministries keep their doors open.  For every bag of gourmet coffee you purchase, this company will give the Mission $3.00.  It's just that easy.... and so, so good!
UPDATE POSTED Saturday, January 10, 2014...

We just wanted to express our heartfelt "Thanks" to all of you for your many prayers. They have certainly gotten us through these first few trying days of 2014. Your generous acts of kindness, concern, contributions and donations, following these two fires, have turned our ashes into beauty. We rejoice in knowing that our mission friends, both near and far, stand with us, and that God is always faithful.

Even though we lost half of our housing for those on the men's initial 90-day program, we did not have to send anyone away, for lack of a place to sleep. You provided bedding, linens, clothing, toiletries, jackets, shoes, and met other personal needs of the men who have been displaced. We have also had many offers of help to rebuild.
If you would like to make a monetary contribution, you may do so by visiting our website here, and clicking on "Make a Contribution". It is our promise to you, that every penny will be put right back into this ministry, and used to bring the message of freedom and salvation to those who need it most.
We love you, and pray God richly blesses each one of you, and may you draw even nearer to Him in 2014.
If you would like to make a monetary donation through this website, please click the link on the right hand column that says "Make A Contribution".  Please check our facebook page regularly during this time to see updates.
Volunteer firemen from Tanner Williams and Seven Hills responded to our fire.
Our classroom turned into a makeshift dorm to house the men who have been displaced.
We were blessed with new mattresses after the fire!
The inside of Rainwater Dorm will have to be gutted completely and rebuilt.
 More pictures of the devastation.

We are so thankful for our volunteer Fire Departments who responded.
