The Welcome Home Ministry was designed to help the families of the men who are enrolled in the Mission of Hope program.

Addictions, as you are probably well aware, never just affect the individual man.  The whole family and close family friends are drawn into this vicious cycle of pain through lying, cheating, stealing, broken relationships and wasted lives.  Because of this, it is extremely important that everyone be helped during this time of healing and recovery.  This is why the Mission of Hope has made the WELCOME HOME Ministry part of their recovery program and why they ask that ALL family members and close friends of the family to participate. We want to help you build the strongest and healthiest support base for your loved one.  There MUST be at least one person to go completely through the Welcome Home program on his behalf.  Failure to take part in the scheduled meetings may cause your loved one to lose his visitation privileges.  Prior arrangements MUST be made through the Welcome Home Team if you are unable to attend the initial session, and alternative dates will be discussed so that you can attend at a later time.

The WELCOME HOME Ministry is designed with the family in mind.  During the three month period at the Mission of Hope your loved one will be receiving maximum support through Biblical counseling, teaching, and preaching at the Mission of Hope.  It is our intention that the family receive the same support through the WELCOME HOME Ministry.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT… The purpose of the Welcome Home Ministry is to help bring reconciliation to the lives of those torn apart by the devastation of addictions through the steps of being able to forgive, setting boundaries, discovering true commitment  and experiencing how blessed their lives can become through a new direction of walking with the Lord on a daily basis.

WHAT WE PROVIDE… During the three months that your loved one is at the Mission of Hope receiving Biblical counseling, teaching, and hearing God’s Word preached, we are dedicated to providing the family with the help and encouragement you need.  This will better insure that when the family is reunited, all parties concerned will be more equipped to deal with life’s issues and challenges from a Biblical standpoint, and to know that there is someone standing by ready to provide additional encouragement should the need arise.

SESSIONS OFFERED…  Family sessions are held once or twice a month during the three month period.  The first session is a group lecture and two remaining sessions will be on an individual basis.  You will be contacted and given an exact schedule of each of your session times.

“And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.”
